Each time this year we celebrate the birth of Jesus. It's a magical and lovely time of the year.

From the house of the Five Little Women we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

What Have We Been Up To?

I hope you're having a great holiday season.

We have been very busy here. Christmas is a fun and crazy time of year. So many good holiday traditions.

One is being in an outdoor Christmas play. This is a fun way to act and remind us all of the reason for the season.

We also like to go to see the Trail of Lights. They get us into the Christmas spirit.

And of course spending a lot of time enjoying the Christmas decorations with cups of hot chocolate in front of a warm fire.

Hot Chocolate Parties

It's getting colder down here in Texas.

One of the things that our family does every year when the weather gets cold is to get out some snowman mugs and have a hot chocolate party.

We sit around and talk about life, the weather,  jobs, and all kinds of stuff. Anything and everything It's a great time to warm up at the end of the day and reconnect. With how busy everyone's schedules are, it's nice have some time set aside to just talk and share.

Working Away

It's getting colder down here in Texas. I don't know about you but that makes me want to curl up inside with good book or project and get busy.

And things are getting busy with the 5 Little Women. We are all enjoying the cooler weather. We are working in the garden and of course working on some new items for the shop.

It's so fun to be working on a project together. We have dreamed about doing a business together for awhile. Now that it's coming together we are excited to see how the store does.

Each Sister

I hope you have taken some time to stop by our Etsy store.

I thought I would take a few minutes and introduce each of the Five Little Women.

From left to right. 

That pretty lady on the far left is Sarah. She is the oldest at home and takes the lead on most projects. It was her idea to start an Etsy store where we all contribute things that are handmade. She is one of our jewelry makers specializing in charm bracelets. 

Next girl over is Rose (me). I'm the next oldest and enjoy supporting my family in their endeavors. I'm hospital volunteer and avid crafter. I make the cross stitched cards that you see in the store. 

The girl in the middle is Rebekkah. She is the second to youngest and has a quiet spirit. She does so much work around the house without complaint, freeing the rest of us up to do more. She makes the lovely crocheted flowers you see in the store.

The second to last girl on the right is Mikayla. She is the youngest and is an amazing photographer. Her spunk and cheerful smile always brighten our day. She is the creator for the framed paper dresses you see in the store. 

The last girl on the right is Grace. She is the sister in the middle and has a honest fun outlook on life. She's so generous and amazing at repairing jewelry. She makes jewelry specializing in earrings and dream catchers. 

So there you have it.You have met the Five Little Women.
